Thank you Guldteigbrygga in Norway for a great show!!!

It was amazing to share the stage with Ottar “Big Hand” Johansen, Anders Sinnes, and Martine Haugen at the very cool venue Guldteigbrygga at the edge of the sea in Norway on September 12th!

Call it a love story about Indiana, the place where I grew up and first began writing music. I considered following the traditional route of recording studio versions of each song with my band, but decided that the heart of these songs lies in the storytelling that only happens when you sing them for a live audience. I cannot wait to hear what you think of them!

These songs are stories about the people, the places and the incredible events that occur in Indiana every year. From the beauty of Brown County forests, to T. C. Steele’s paintings, robin egg blue skies, and his hilltop home. To the county fair with corn dogs, farm animals, and the demolition derby. To the Indy 500 and the roaring crowds that fuel the spectacular race!

A old friend of mine from Indiana recently told me how much he enjoyed listening to my songs, because of how they capture some of the amazing things that define Indiana. For those of you who have moved away, I hope they take you “back home again….”, and for those who have never been to Indiana, just take a listen and find out about this beautiful place!
